Like so many others in the very late 50´s I started my dog "career" with German Shepard Dogs (Schäferhund). I was quite successful in obedience and enjoyed working with a dog and a bitch.
My family had both Collie and Great Dane
I left Sweden for England and stayed on there for almost 33 years. My love had always been Rottweiler, they were very rare in those days but I always knew I would have one, and I did. In the middle seventies I required my first bitch, having had a male previous, and from there on my moderate kennel started. I choose the name SVEDALA as it meant Sweden in an old fashioned way.
Ten years later I required my first Swedish Vallhund for the simple fact that everyone told me I should have one, being swedish myself.

EBBA HILDREK SILVA OF SVEDALA, who became 18,5 years old.
MY FUNDATION BITCH FOR KENNEL SVEDALA´S SWEDISH VALLHUNDS
As the dog became successful I was hooked and has bred many champions.

In Rottweilers my most famous dog was SVEDALA THE SCANDINAVIAN (GB CH.) owned by Treena Flowers.
Her very first dog. It won groups and BIS.

My most known dog in Vallhunds being Int. Nord., Champion SVEDALA LUDWIG LODJUR
I have exported dogs to USA, Malaysia and European countries
I became a judge in the 80´s in England and after doing the Swedish test I became a FCI judge in1994. I now have over 70 breeds which I have judged in Australia, US, Russia.
All over Europe, Scandinavia and the Eastern block countries.
One of my biggest moments were my appointment
at CRUFT´s Doing Swedish Valhunds in 2006
I also think judging the Rottwieler Club Show in Australia is high on the list.
I am back there again this year doing the National (2007) plus of course
all the breed specials in different countries in my two breeds
The years go by and I feel I´m doing a lot of judging, breeding and travelling. In principle I suppose life is "the same" as always. I have required new breeds and been to new countries. I have bred some new champions and am enjoying life.
I have once again been to Australia and judged The National Rottweiler Special. I also had the honour of doing the Bernese Mountain Dog Special.
In 2008, the year of the world show here in Sweden I´ve been asked to do some of the Rottweilers at the circuit show. This is a show the Breed Club is organising, like so many breedclubs in conjuction with the main event but natrually on a different day. A great honour.
